Graphic Designer/Web Developer with Marketing Experience

We are seeking a Web Developer that will assist in the creation and maintenance of Smiths South-Central Sales digital network including all websites, applications, and other platforms. This role will assist in the design, development, and maintenance of all aspects of the company’s website presence, from a local to a national level. The Web Designer will work closely with Smiths’ Marketing staff members, IT and other internal team members. This position will also assist in designing and implementing strategies for growing web traffic, usability, and user experience across all digital properties or platforms.

Core Duties

  • Ability to maintain and develop front-end components of website design including layout principles, digital media & asset management, optimization, and implementation
  • Develop, create, and broadcast emails communications, email campaigns, and product introductions
  • Monitor, maintain, and report website performance, error management, and site functionality to the SSCS IT and Marketing team


  • Experience working in web content development and/or digital media with skills using tools required to design, code and build web content
  • Knowledge and successful application and use of web services technologies, including HTML, Javascript, content styles, widgets, and plug-ins to produce designs consistent with Smiths brand standards.
  • Associate’s degree in Web/Digital Design or equivalent experience is a plus
  • Proficiency with scripting such as PHP or within WordPress; custom post types

Shipping and Receiving Stock Clerk

We are seeking a Warehouse Stock Clerk whose duties include stocking parts, and pulling multiple customer orders, utilizing computer electronic hand-held scanning equipment.  The work environment is a very clean, non-climate controlled distribution warehouse facility.

Core Duties

  • Stocking Inventory, fulfilling/pulling customer orders, maintaining a clean work environment


  • A team player, capable of following established job description processes
  • Must be reliable and trustworthy
  • Must be able to hold and interact with hand-held computer scanners
  • Provide your own transportation to and from work, daily
  • Lift parts and packages up to 70lbs. repetitively throughout the day
  • Hours are full time 9am – 6pm Monday – Friday
  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent

Customer Service Representative/Clerical – Position Filled

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative whose duties will be to primarily take phone calls and assist our customers through a wide range of product ordering and answering questions, while guaranteeing a high customer satisfaction as well as a positive customer experience.  The candidate must enjoy the art of customer conversation, building connections, and helping customers.  A very basic understanding of small engines, outdoor power equipment and parts are a plus.  

Core Duties

  • Responsible for handling multiple types of customer contacts – ordering, questions, shipment tracking – through multiple channels – phone, email, company website.
  • Processing customer orders
  • Assisting customers with parts look-up
  • Perform general clerical and office operational tasks
